The short form of tuberculosis is “TB. Actually, TB roots by the reason of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Normally, bacteria has its effects on lungs, but the bacteria that causes TB shows its effects on various parts of out body like spine, kidney and brain. When it is left carelessly, it may lead to death.
In what way TB could spread?
TB could stretch to others by the way of air, TB bacteria gets into air when the patients with throat or lungs TB bacteria sneezes, sings, speaks or coughs. The persons adjacent to them may get these bacteria when they breathe this air.
TB could not be spread when—
- hands are shaken
- foods are shared
- toilet seats and bed are touched
- toothbrushes are shared
- you kiss them
TB disease and hidden TB infection:
All the persons who get TB bacteria will not become sick. There are 2 conditions of TB; they are active TB illness and latent TB illness.
- Latent TB infection:
Generally, TB bacteria could reside in the body without causing any sickness on you and this is known as latent TB infection. In case, if a person happens to breathe in the air that contains TB bacteria, the body fights against them and put a full top for its growth. People affected by latent TB infection actually will not have the feeling of sickness as well as any warning sign. - TB disease:

There are some differences between the TB disease and latent TB infection and they are as follows.

- Patients suffering from TB disease have symptoms like a awful cough, chest pain, blood coughing, fatigue or weakness, weight loss, night sweating, fever and chills. But you could not get these symptoms in the case of latent TB infection.
- Persons distressed from TB disease feel sick whereas persons with latent TB infection will not feel sick.
